Egg Recall : The Names of 13 Brands Included

Health Department officials believe the eggs are the likely source of the salmonella cases were identified in two restaurant outbreaks in May and in July.

The eggs recalled are from Wright County Egg of Galt, Iowa were delivered to food distribution centers and food service companies in eight states, including Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa. An Iowa egg producer has issued a nationwide recall of 228 million eggs after a rash of salmonella cases were reported in California, Colorado and Minnesota.

The cases have been traced to eggs produced at Wright Country Eggs in Galt, Iowa between May and July of 2010. The eggs were shipped to food wholesalers, distribution centers and foodservice companies in California, Illinois, Missouri, Colorado, Nebraska, Minnesota, Wisconsin and Iowa. These distributors then shipped them nationwide.
